After completion of Bachelors in Dental Surgery in 2001 from one of the most prestigious 92 year old institution ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, India Worked in India for 3 years and gained a vast experience in Clinical Dentistry as a General Dentist in all branches of Dentistry. Instilled with qualities of pursued Masters in Dental Surgery in the field of Periodontics from Annamalai University in 2004 and completed it in 2007. Gaining significant knowledge in Periodontics &Implantology started career as a Periodontist & Implantologist in 2007 and worked in motherland for 3 years. Trained in various cosmetic procedures and surgical methods like Conventional, Electrocautery, Laser, Piezoelectric surgery with a holistic patient oriented treatment plan and goals makes the treatment sublime. Landed in UAE and serving the people of Al Ain since 2010 in a private dental centre.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SPECIALIST PERIODONTIST

• Provide dental health care for patients enabling them to maintain their oral health independently in such a way that they would take care of their own dental health.
• Purchase and maintenance of the equipment and stock materials.
• Organization of school dental health programs and dental health awareness programs in corporate organization.
• Examination, diagnosis and treatment planning for patients with periodontal infections and requiring full mouth rehabilitation.
• Periodontal flap surgeries including osseous surgeries, bone grafting and Guided Tissue Regeneration.
• Surgical and prosthetic restoration of missing teeth using dental implants.
• Atraumatic removal of teeth and socket preservation.
• Management of patients with periodontal and peri-implant infections.
• Pre-prosthetic surgeries like vestibuloplasty, ridge augmentation.
• Periodontal plastic surgical procedures like frenectomy, increasing the width of attached gingiva, and soft tissue surgeries.
• Cosmetic periodontal surgical procedures like correction of gummy smile, gingival depigmentation.
• Crown lengthening procedures either by gingivectomy, apically displaced flap or combined with osseous surgeries.
• Management of patients with dental caries and pulpo-periodontal lesions.
